Open Education workshop: Let’s do education together!
In our workshop at the forthcoming EADTU -conference we will present a practical hands on –manual that we have produced in a Finnish #AVOTesr –project (working-life oriented open higher education). Our aim is to create new up-to-date education products rapidly with an international network and to show how easily it’s done.
In the AVOT-project we have successfully piloted the processes on how Open HEIs organize open studies and competence modules based on the needs of working life. The aim of the project has been to create a sustainable and agile operating model (manual). The model will soon be ready to be presented. In the workshop we will utilize our manual in creating international collaborative short learning programmes as well.
Our aim at the workshop is to present that a nationwide Open University and Open UAS -cooperation network has been able to achieve good results in meeting the needs of three growth sectors (ICT, social services and health care, bioeconomy and the environment). In addition we have been cooperating with labor market organizations, companies and public sector. Now it’s time to co-operate with international network and test our manual in the making.
Let’s do education together and create new agile networks!
